Whoever invented this psychotic "feature" for cell phones to play music at callers while they wait for some idiot to answer the damn phone should be tortured within an inch of his or her life many times over. This is the most irritating thing about cell phones that I have come across! (And I used to be a barista at Starbucks, epicenter of cell phone faux pas.) Does anyone know who invented this insanity? Ericsson has been selling hardware for this for a while now, and it just an easy way for operators to rake in extra dough. I think it was invented by people in the Ericsson Music Solutions group. Several US operators now offer the "service", and it has to be one of the most misused things in the industry. » POSTED IN:
