I came across this rather erudite Limerick the other day:

A mosquito was heard to complain
That a chemist had poisoned his brain;
The cause of his sorrow
Was Para-dichloro-
Diphenyltrichloroethane.

It set me thinking that other special interests deserved to be similarly addressed in verse.

So here is my opening stab at one for 43Folders.

A young business climber called Lunne
Was obsessed by Getting-Things-Done
But a curvaceous assistant
Became very persistant
In suggesting more sensuous fun.

Though at first his reactions were numb,
He slowly began to succumb
Since her suggested Next Action
Promised great satisfaction
And all hopes for his Lists were undone.

I'm sure that your many GTD fans can rise to the challenge to do better :-)

BTW are Limericks are peculiarly British weakness?
And why are the best ones usually ribald?
