Linux GTD roll call

Hi everyone,

Anyone else using Linux as their day-to-day OS? I switched my work laptop over completely a while ago, though I still run Windows under a VMWare VM for the sake of accessing Lotus Notes and a few other work requried Windows apps.

What office pr0n tools have folks used under Linux? I've played around with VIMOutliner and GnomeTasks, along with several stand alone wikis. My team is using the NotesWiki template from OpenNTF for shared information and that's worked out fantastically.

TOPICS: GNU/Linux

sup linux. I'm working...

sup linux. I'm working on an Literature MPhil, and I'm also an arch linux user. I've been GTDing since summer, only recently got it in a workable form. All capture is analog, collect paper into a folder, or write stuff in a hPDA. Moleskine cahier for thoughts I may eventually want to read again.

I started typing a description of how I do everything digitally using mutt, todo.txt, remind, an intricate directory structure made simple with cdargs, a lot of bash scripting, and postfix, but it's a little too complicated for this post (though exactly what it needs to be for my life). I can do a blog post or something if anyone's interested.

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »

Scared Shitless

Merlin’s scared. You’re scared. Everybody is scared.

This is the video of Merlin’s keynote at Webstock 2011. The one where he cried. You should watch it. »
