Ah, now I've looked at hazel before but from what I could tell all it did was sort files into folders based on rules, or does it do more than that?

Personally, having files become automatically sorted for me is the last thing I want. sorting is something I can do myself, after all it falls under the 2 minute rule and I can do it with more integrity than automatic rules, I just need to be reminded to do it that's all (and remember what the damn files are) :)
