It'd be a bit clunky. I still want a Mac tablet, it'd be brilliant, but only as a convertible laptop.

When you flip the screen around it would change the UI to something that is well, much more suitable for the tablet form factor, with a Dock along the side repopulated with applications that you set.

The only killer app I've been able to think up so far is a freeform note taking application (or a similar application) I could use in class. It would use handwriting recognition of course, but the iSight camera and microphone would be available for taking pictures, recording audio, or recording video. There would be a toolbar along the top where you could drop "objects" (an object being a shape or say.. something from Google's 3D Warehouse for example, or a similar warehouse), and a media browser would be available (similar to the ones you find in iLife or iWork apps) for dropping photos and movies in. But if you were to flip the screen back to "laptop mode" the entire UI for the application would change but the data would still be how you left it.

Eh... something like that.
