iGTD vs Midnight Inbox
bradyjfrey | Aug 20 2007
Good afternoon 43 folders forum users, I started out on iGTD, and so far it's been fantastic. I've checked the demo out on Midnight Inbox - it seems visually superior, and it definately walks you through a more rigid structure of GTD (or so it seems), but I wonder if that's going to be a curse later on. However, some of that more defined task management seems like it would be a great way to keep me inline with my management. iGTD on the other hand seems to sync well with other applications, and the hopes of syncing it with multiple machines via iGTD pro seems very promising. So I'm just wondering everyone's thoughts here, has anyone picked one of these two, and compared why? Thank you! 3 Comments

I use iGTD daily. I actually enjoy it--I don't feel dread knowing I'm getting reading to face my todo list. It's comfortable, very much so. It also plays nicely with MailTags, Journler, Textmate, Opera, Safari, Firefox..... http://ma.gnolia.com/people/carla/tags/igtd If it helps, I have OCD and ADHD, and so avoidance, dread, forgetfulness...all there. :o But I've even set up a laptop maintenance schedule in it, and things are truly getting done. (I'd like to change the icons, though, the screaming yellow exclamation point takes away from the soothe. I might have to just do that.) » POSTED IN:
