GCALDaemon & multiple ical

hi, anyone here good with gcaldaemon? I've synced one of my ical calenders to my gcal account using gcaldaemon but to be honest it looks a lot more complicated to use multiple calenders... is it just a matter of finding the local ical's directory and creating a counterpart in gcal? if so do i have to create all the empty calendars of the same name in gcal first? thanks!

How about Spanning Sync?

Have either of you tried Spanning Sync? I realize it does cost (which I think is bollocks because this functionality should be built-in to iCal) but it really is tempting to throw down the cash after using the trial.
