blogging software recommendation?

hey, I'm looking for blogging software. any suggestions? these are my specs: 1) mac-user. i use TextMate & Quicksilver & the command line and wouldn't mind it being compatible/take advantage of both/all. 2) would rather "compile" the blog locally and upload it (via rsync) than install stuff on my webhost (b/c i've never done that before and it seems like a headache. is this too much of a constraint?) thx. p.s. i used to use iBlog. never again! 6 Comments

There's a big list of Wordpress-compatible clients at http://codex.wordpress.org/Weblog_Client -- I've not tried anything but Vagablog for PalmOS. Typically, I'll still compose my posts directly inside Wordpress' included editor. » POSTED IN:
