Quicksilver: Current selection > Move to... does not remove from desktop.

Hi there! Since I've seen Merlin's "undistracted mac" episode, I've been trying to keep my desktop empty as much as possible. I do, however, download stuff to the desktop: it's easy to access and forces me put things where they belong, instead of having them linger in some hidden away download folder. To put things away, I've been trying to use the "Move to..." action in Quicksilver. However, while the action does copy the files to the designated place, it doesn't remove them from the desktop. When I try it from anywhere in the finder, it works like a charm. Yours, 6 Comments

I have noticed something similar with QS, but I didn't notice whether it was just on files on the desktop or not. I'll pay attention and see if/when it happens again. In the meantime, you might also search the QS forums. Maybe this is a known bug and maybe there are other workarounds. » POSTED IN:
