Mac newbie needs help! I lost my window resizer...
metonym | May 7 2007
Hi, I just purchased a MacBook for personal use (in part cause I was tired of reading about all the cool stuff on 43F that I couldn't play with) and now I need to decide whether I'm keeping it as my primary machine. Overall, things are going pretty smoothly, but there are a few small indignities I just haven't been able to sort out yet - - and I was hoping I could impose on the mac-uber-geeks here at 43F to answer my silly question. :) I'm using Parallels, and the window is only resizeable from the bottom right most corner - - however I've managed to lose that corner beneath the bottom of the screen, and can't seem to find a way to get it back. This can't possibly be a big deal, but I'm a little sleep deprived at the moment, and can't quite seem to figure it out. Any tips for resizing my window back to a manageable size very much appreciated..... Thank you. 7 Comments

Figured it out, and wanted...Submitted by metonym on May 7, 2007 - 6:21pm.
Figured it out, and wanted to share the fix with y'all. It seems self-evident in retrospect, but then, when doesn't it?... and I'm a little embarrassed the fix was this easy: I changed the screen resolution in Windows (within the Parallels console.) Voila - resized to a manageable window. Gonna go bang my head softly on the desk for a few minutes now... and then try to make up the time I lost working on this. Thanks for the help attempts - I really appreciate it! » POSTED IN:
