gtd plugin for Mori
BMEguy | May 9 2007
Hi, I would just like to announce to people here that I've finally released the mGTD plugin for Mori Notebook. http://jhh.med.virginia.edu/main/MoriGTD http://johnzeratsky.com/archives/001526.php and my screencast (sorry for the low sound level) The mGTD plugin adds to this with functions for: urgency: when a task is due on a certain date, but has to be done before that date It's available here along with an example notebook and rudimentary docs: The plugin is free, and even though Mori is not, the demo of Mori is fully featured so you should be able to try things out completely before deciding if it's right for you. [BTW other than gtd, Mori is quite an effective tool for note-taking and note-making, and the developer is pretty highly regarded.] All feedback is welcome, either in this thread or the one at hogbaysoftware. Not related to your plugin,...Submitted by Berko on May 9, 2007 - 6:40am.
Not related to your plugin, but I don't like apps like this that make you create a file. Mori, Circus Ponies Notebook (although, there are good reasons for it here), and DEVONthink all create a database/journal/notebook file. This seems counterintuitive for apps that seem to aim at integration. Journler and Yojimbo have it right in the way they just create the database/library and use it transparently. Yes, I want to back up my database blah blah blah, but backing up my home folder regularly should take care of it or there should be an option in the preferences for it. Sorry to derail your thread. You may now resume regular thread discussion. » POSTED IN:
