GTD with Journler
msanford | Apr 14 2007
Journler is a fantastic piece of software for MacOS X. It is, in fact, so well written and so useful that I won't even bother making any effort at describing it here, other than to say that it (as far as I can tell) does the same thing as an expensive suite like DEVON* but is free, better-designed and has a much more attractive user interface. Elegant, beautiful, powerful. Journler is a place for your thoughts and everything they touch. In concert with iCal, Yojimbo and the two 1 x 2 metre whiteboards in my office, this is my GTD suite on a shoestring, and it's utterly fantastic. 2 Comments

Could you please explain a little more why you use both Yojimbo and Journler together. I am a Yojimbo user and, though Journler has a slightly different feature set, at their base they seem very much the same. Ditto! I'd like to know how you use both. I can imagine it has to do with the "junk drawer" orientation of Yojimbo, a place to just dump "stuff" to be found later, and Journler is used as a more organized and orderly place, along with the daily journal feature. » POSTED IN:
