Amazing iCal multiple day view trick

I just discovered something amazing in iCal. Am I just way behind the times?
In week view, press cmd+option+n(1-7), and iCal will show you only n-days. I also does some weird things to the window size, but that might be a small price to pay for someone who wants to block out some of the weeks distractions.

Look at ActionItems; there you can select any days from a calendar out of sequence even (eg Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and next Monday) and it shows you things just from those days.
