cut and paste between two macs?

Hello. I use two computers at work...my laptop and a desktop. I like to use both b/c it gives me more screen space and processor power. The only thing that is annoying is "cut" on one machine and "paste" on the other. Right now I keep an iChat Bonjour going with myself to do this, which kind of works, but it involves several steps: 1) cut on computer 1 I would like to reduce those steps. I can imagine that I can make an applescript that works with QuickSilver to automate steps 1-3. Now I can make a qs applescript to automate steps 4-6 then I'll be golden! Anyone interested in helping figure out how to do this? 6 Comments

You might also checkout the lifehacker posts on creating chat bots. Perhaps you could set up a chatbot that would let you specify the app to paste in as well. Maybe your message would look something like Quote: Word | Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. and then your bot would parse the message based on the pipe separator.
