Free (or at least way cheaper) DEVONThink alternative?

I rather like the idea of having a program to manage all my digital crap, since I suck at doing it myself. DEVONThink looks nice, but I just don't have that kind of money. I've been using Journler 2.0, but it's a bit clunky, particularly in how it does entries with tables. Yeek. Any recomendations? 19 Comments

LOL I was going to recommend Journler! Not sure what you mean about tables. However, I like the clipping service and the auto dating of entries. It also allows for folders and smart folders. Now that pdfs display correctly, I'm quite happy with it. I prefer it to Dossier, Caboodle, and JournalX. Formation is shareware and more elegant. » POSTED IN:
