Free (or at least way cheaper) DEVONThink alternative?

I rather like the idea of having a program to manage all my digital crap, since I suck at doing it myself. DEVONThink looks nice, but I just don't have that kind of money. I've been using Journler 2.0, but it's a bit clunky, particularly in how it does entries with tables. Yeek. Any recomendations? 19 Comments

I'd be interested to hear that too. DevonTHINK's AI is pretty cool, but I'm still not clear on how it helps in the real world. I mean, if I'm searching for documents that contain, say, "iPod" and "music", can't I get pretty far just searching for those terms, without the fancy AI? (Not trying to diss on DevonTHINK here -- I really want to know. I've come within about an inch of buying it several times.) » POSTED IN:
