Oh my god. All of my Address Book contacts disappeared

I recently had to force quit Mail.app. When I reopened it, I went to send a buddy an email. When I went to look up his email address, I discovered that ALL of my contacts were deleted from Address Book. I have no current backup, and am freaking out. The only solution I can find on the Internet from other people is restoring a backup from .mac, which I don't have and can't do. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, 4 Comments

Go to Library/Application Support/AddressBook in your home folder. *Copy* that to your desktop. It sounds to me like your files were corrupted, but you might be able to manually inspect them in TextEdit to retrieve your data. Could also try reimporting those files from the copy. » POSTED IN:
