StickyBrain? SOHO Notes/Organizer?
UniAce | Dec 31 2005
Hi all, http://www.chronosnet.com/Products/comparison.html Has anyone used any of these? Any idea on the true virtues of going with one over another? The Organizer includes stuff that would be used instead of iCal and the OS X Address Book, but I'm not sure that i want that. I kind of trust Apple more for long-term support of applications. Any other considerations? 18 Comments

I haven't tried Notes or Organizer. Sticky Brain was great for quick notes. Very useful for odd bits of reference information (default notes include conversions, capitals, customer service numbers, etc.) and log/journal-type stuff (you can quickly insert the timestamp). The internal search feature is fine, although your Sticky Brain database is closed to Spotlight searches. Linking notes is a bit awkward and inconvenient, and they do not display inline. Overall, I had a difficult time integrating it with other apps and types of files, but, YM, as they say, MV. Chronos offers an unlimited 30 trial, so that should give you some time to play around with it. I'd love to hear your thoughts if you do so. Good luck!
