Ok, I feel dumb, but I honestly can't figure this out. When I first got a Mac a year and a half ago, I stumbled across a tip that helped me do this, but now I can't find it and it's annoying the crap out of me.

How do I set Finder so that every window it opens, opens in Column View? I remember it was something ridiculously easy, but I can't for the life of me remember what. If you guys can help me with this, I'd really appreciate it.
