Safari's helping too much.

Every time I download anything that can be opened or decompressed, Safari's download window interrupts what I'm doing: "X is an application. Are you certain you want to download it?". I have to agree to complete the download, then switch back to whatever window/application I was using at the time. Any tips on stifling this? I appreciate Safari's concern and love, but...:confused: 3 Comments

I'm assuming the corresponding preference is "open safe files after downloading them"? If only there were a "just do your job, browser, and don't ask me about anything, or notify me of anything save a catastrophic failure" preference. :D » POSTED IN:
