Help Me Merlin-Wan Kenobi, You're My Only Hope (Entourage vs. iCal/Mail/Address Book)

Merlin, I feel you when I say that I've tried and tried to like using Apple's trio of productivity apps. But I cannot kick the Entourage habit. I like my full contact history, the links between messages, the Palm Sync, and launching one app instead of three. You've mentioned some of those same things on 43f, and I was wondering how you made it to using the triumvirate without feeling all weird. I've tried to use Apple's offerings in the past and it all just felt clunky. //k 14 Comments

I use the Apple applications because they work well independently, integrate occasionally, and sync near flawlessly through .Mac. I'm constantly using more than one Mac per day, and my information is moved for me. I don't have to think about it, things just happen in the background. I have "pimped my apps" with a few plug-ins and scripts. It's not perfect, but it's good enough and I don't have to think or worry about my trusted system. That's huge.
