One of my projects is totally changing the landscape of our house, since our shady tree is dying and we're soon going to lose all of our plants that love deep shade and end up in full sun. Windoze has programs where you can take a picture of your house, then try different types of landscape plants, etc. around it, even seeing how it will all look after a few years when things have grown. But I haven't found anything like that for the Mac. Windoze even had a program once that did minor architectural changes to your home, as well. Ex: You could change the types of windows and see how it would look. Does anything like this exist for the Mac? 7 Comments

Roll your own in OmniGraffle! The only architecture applications for the Mac are for professionals, IIRC. I used to have an office above an architect firm years ago that was mac-based. They used something called Architrion or something. I wound up being their "kind of on-call" support tech so I got my feet wet with that application now and then. » POSTED IN:
