Finder windows tabs
thibaut | Feb 24 2006
I suddenly rembered a *super* feature there was in OS9 and that is, to my knowledge, missing in OSX : you could grab the title bar of a window, drag it to one of the screen borders, and it would create a tab of this window. You clicked the tab, and the window was popping out from the screen edge, instantly, and was usable just as any other windows. Once you clicked outside of it, it was hiding to the tab state. I know you can almost do this with the dock, but I like to keep my dock hidden and also, when you pop a window out of the dock, it doesn't come back there by itself, you have to double click on the title bar. Have you heard of a way to get these tabs in OSX ? t 2 Comments
