syncable finance software?
willb | Mar 1 2006
My wife and I are looking for some decent home finance software (Quicken seems to be getting worse on the Mac), and came across Liquid Ledger, which looks pretty good. However, it would be great if we could enter our purchases on our own powerbooks and sync up (either peer-to-peer or to a designated "master" machine). Does anyone have any experience with personal finance software that does this? 1 Comment

After shifting to the Mac...Submitted by ahab on March 3, 2006 - 5:48am.
After shifting to the Mac three years ago, I found Quicken for the Mac a sad substitute for its Windows version. I tried a couple of different approaches and settled on Moneydance, which imported years of Quicken data pretty much painlessly and has worked well ever since. Its updated frequently, the tech support is good--a sharp contrast to Intuit--and I have it running on an iMac and an iBook synced through Chronosync (search www.versiontracker.com) daily. No problems at all. » POSTED IN:
