Does anyone use the 'Services' menu?

The mac finder and most apps have a "Services" menu under the main App menu. I never think to use it -- Is anyone out there using these "Services" to improve productivity/effectiveness? How so?

DEVONthink uses Services for inserting things into your database(s).

I use that one quite a bit.
