Idea Mason - anybody using it?
Momo | Dec 5 2006
I just stumbled across Idea Mason, a writing/referencing software which looks fantastic. I'm really interested in buying it. Does anybody have any experience with it? thanks! Momo 2 Comments

IdeaMason quick reviewSubmitted by lnelson on March 1, 2007 - 1:29pm.
Momo, following your link, I eventually got around to looking at IdeaMason. I am working on a non-fiction book and it is really excellent at storing a lot of information before you really know where and how the info should be used. I have about 150 sources and about 1100 ideas and quotes in it already. In response to Jason, I would say that I don't think that applications like this are all that proprietary. IdeaMason outputs its data in RichText, Text, Word, XML, HTML, etc. And it does a good job of importing from Endnote. Obviously the goal is to pick an application that isn't buggy, of course, and my experience with IdeaMason is that it is one of the most solid programs I've ever used, and that includes many MS apps. I would encourage you to check it out if you haven't. Lane » POSTED IN:
