I finally decided it was time to start documenting what I'm considering to be version 1.0 of my "trusted system." I'm putting it here rather than the GTD sub-forum because - well - I wrote more about the tools than the methodology and most of the tools are decidedly low-tech. As I have mentioned before, it does not approach the comprehensive whitepapers that emory, Patrick, and others have posted, but it was a start for me to just formalize things by putting them in writing. 16 Comments

You know we should be sponsored Levenger spokespeople. Or at least Levenger should look into advertising or sponsoring on 43folders.com. Ok back on subject... I like the write up of your system. Always great to hear how one incorporates their life with a GTD system and how it works and such. I've been toying with the same idea of a write up about my system. I just keep changing things and I don't feel I have had one trusted system in place for long. Such a perfectionist... I recently re-read GTD and I just got done listening to GTD Fast. That has made me look at things and begin to simplify and see what I actually use instead of what I wish I would use. I'm starting to simplify things and eliminate unneeded steps or actions that eat away at my time and my mind. Also, reducing the number of buckets. I'm happy to say the Circa Jr. is a part of that trusted system and the more I think about it, the more I should incorporate it into other things in my life. » POSTED IN:
