Inexpensive Fountain Pens

I'm interested in cheap fountain pens because the last time I had a really nice one, I lost it.

I currently have a new Lamy Safari extra fine nib and I love it. The only thing I'd change would be to have a slimmer pen -- this one is a little fat for where I keep it in my planner/purse.

Any suggestions for slimmer fountain pen that isn't expensive?

Or for that matter, any fountain pens that aren't expensive?

I'm on the waiting list for the Speeno now, but would like to know what the other options are out there.

However, in discussing FP's writings, I should mention Noodler's Inks. I just got my inks in today, and replaced the current inks I was using (older Skrip and Pelikan), and the difference was immediately noticeable. Writing is so much smoother on both pens now (one is red for grading, one is blue-black legal-lapis bullet-proof ink - down the page a bit). With the Noodler's in the m150, it's like butter on the page now! The cheapo-Parker is now writing wonderfully as well! It used to be scratch on the page, and is now very smooth.

Odd. I started using Noodler's Black in my Sheaffer, and I find it to be much more sluggish than the Parker Quink I'm used to. It takes noticably more pressure to get it to flow well, which means more scratching, too. I think it's worth it for the waterproof, quick drying, non-smudging features, but I do think it's a trade-off.
