Inexpensive Fountain Pens

I'm interested in cheap fountain pens because the last time I had a really nice one, I lost it. I currently have a new Lamy Safari extra fine nib and I love it. The only thing I'd change would be to have a slimmer pen -- this one is a little fat for where I keep it in my planner/purse. Any suggestions for slimmer fountain pen that isn't expensive? Or for that matter, any fountain pens that aren't expensive? I'm on the waiting list for the Speeno now, but would like to know what the other options are out there. 31 Comments

I had heard the Parker Vector was no longer available in a fountain pen, but I just went and looked at their website, and it seems the Vector fp is available in a limited number of finishes (plenty, though). So I was wrong about that. If you can find one cheaply, it's a good-writing pen, though a little skinny for my tastes. » POSTED IN:
