Bit the bullet... ordered a Levenger Circa Jr.
Russell | Dec 4 2006
Well, after much contemplation, I went ahead and ordered a Levenger Circa in the Jr. size. I went with the red color and had it customized with my intials. I also ordered the tab dividers, grid paper refill, and combo puncher of the desktop and travel punch. Pretty pricey, but I think I will get a lot of use out of this notebook. Per my question on emory's review thread, I found this link to someone who has had a letter size of the Levenger Circa for a while and describes how he uses it. I'll post up some pix to my flickr account when I get to opening it and how I pimp it out...heh... 39 Comments

Buyer's remorse? Nonsense! Actually, if you really want a letter size, you can always just get plastic covers and 11 rings. This will file both letter reference pages and your junior-sized notes. If I ever decide to upgrade to leather and give in to Levenger's refills, this might be the route I take. I really like the junior size, but it was too time consuming to make my own. I currently keep several letter-sized notebooks, mostly filled with reference material... I was actually thinking about this today... Why do I need another leather one? I was going to buy the punch anyway and I already have the package of 22 rings I bought when I got the Junior... So as long as I'm dropping more money, what's another $18 for 2 sets of letter-size covers and the dividers? Or for the same price I could buy one complete letter-sized notebook (with no dividers)... That would mean I'd have the handsome leather Junior to take everywhere while test-driving the letter-size for other stuff. If after a while I feel the need to make a permanent transition to letter-sized, I'd only have to buy the $94 (YIKES!) leather notebook and transfer the stuff. » POSTED IN:
