A script for generating ruled writing paper
jason.mcbrayer | Feb 9 2007
Hello, all. I have written a small python script for generating PDFs of lined handwriting paper. The lines are spaced for helping you make your handwriting more regular, and are especially intended for cursive italic handwriting. The arrangement of lines is similar to, but not identical to, French-ruled or Seyes paper. The script will allow you to customize the paper size, line spacing, and paper orientation. You can download a sheet of paper generated with the default settings from [url=http://www.carcosa.net/jason/software/utilities/writingpaper/">here. I'd be grateful for any feedback you might have, bearing in mind the limited scope of this script. 2 Comments

Very cool, Jason! If you're ever looking for graph, sudoku, or music staff generators you might want to use PDF Pad. Strangely, they don't have normal lined paper, so your script is a helpful idea. » POSTED IN:
