LOFI Next Action Lists
pooks | Feb 14 2006
I asked how people handle NAs in the GTD area, but I realized what I'm specifically looking for are paper-based ways of keeping lists. Do you keep them on individual sheets of paper in folders, or what? I'm combining LOFI and records on my Mac, but I'm a paper planner user from way back and am kind of ingrained that way, plus I always have it with me. Thanks. 6 Comments

I did my "collecting" for the disaster aka my office. I had lots of "stuff" (including physical stuff that was stored and stacked in there to get it out of the way in the rest of the house) so that was major. Now I'm finally trying to "collect" all the projects in my life, and am trying to figure out how to handle them physically. File folders for each major project? File folders for each category of "next action?" And then the NAs themselves -- word docs that are broken up according to category, then ... I appreciate the fact that GTD is loose enough to accomodate anybody's system. I just wish there were more examples of "systems" to learn from. For example, I'd really like to know how somebody used it as a "paper only/lofi" system. Not that I'll be totally paper only, but it would be helpful! » POSTED IN:
