does moleskine have any competitors?

they seem to have a monopoly going. Are there no other small, trim, decent- quality notebooks similar to the moleskine? surely the japanese make some... 17 Comments

I don't know of another good notebook with the pocket. Clairefontaine is a great alternative (if you don't need the pocket), as their paper is actually nicer. www.pendemonium.com has a good selection, and they are as nice as pie to deal with. I hear many good things about Rhodia but haven't test-driven one yet. But I am dreaming about a new scheme for NAs, projects and notes, so I may get a chance soon. » POSTED IN:
