Bulletin board for my laptop?
tzero | Jun 21 2007
Anybody know if there's a software program out there that works like a bulletin board on one's computer -- i.e. a virtual workspace on which I can create and "tack" stickies or post-its or index cards and move them around, just like I do in my physical-world office? I've gotten halfway there by using You Control Desktops (on my MacBook) to open a 2nd desktop/workspace, turning the background gray, and sticking Stickies all over it. But the only way I can save the whole thing at once is by taking a screenshot. If my system crashes, or if I have to shut down and restart, I'll have to create all 60-plus stickies from scratch -- not ideal. Any suggestions? 5 Comments

Hmmmm, on closer inspection, Scrivener may not do the trick -- though it's cool in many other respects. I need a corkboard with real flexibility: let's me move notecards around willynilly, change their size and whatnot. I tried SuperNotecard, but that has other limitations. Any other suggestions out there? Many thanks ... » POSTED IN:
