GTD, writer's block and learning a language
Laura M. | May 25 2006
I'm studying Portuguese and, with the course soon finishing, our teacher had this "brilliant" idea of having a two-parts exam: for the written part we would submit a composition (theme of our choice) of about half a page and for the oral part, we would present the theme in front of our class. Taking into account that we're not an advance class, writing more than a few lines is enough of a challenge, now imagine the torture it was for me who has enough problems to overcome writer's block in any language. 7 Comments

"Pasta de c?cegas" was funny...Submitted by Natalia on June 5, 2006 - 9:35am.
"Pasta de c?cegas" was funny indeed! Anyway, I have finally checked my book, and tickler file is translated as "arquivo de refer?ncia r?pida". There are some footnotes there too: "Tamb?m chamado de arquivo suspenso, antecipador, ou follow-up". I doubt anyone would know what that is without the little picture and explanation! :) Flexiblefine, thanks for links for those groups! I have joined them, but I am still lurking around... You know, I am not GTD yet. Not just as much as I was supposed to. Laura, I am living in Florian?polis, which is relatevely near RS. I am originally from Bras?lia, though. Good luck on your Portuguese studies! :) » POSTED IN:
