Inbox Zero: DMZ + GMail = ?

Like one of the Google employees in Merlin's audience, I've been a bit of a "bad boy" in terms of how much of my e-mail is from months (years) ago. How can I implement a DMZ-esque system within GMail? Because GMail lacks folder creation, how can I start afresh with my e-mail? I mean, I could potentially just use "dashes" to move through all of it, but that seems a bit backwards. I would welcome any suggestions. 4 Comments

Realistically, you probably only have to look at the last month of e-mail or so. Anything older probably isn't actionable anymore. You can archive everything from more than a month ago and then focus on processing this month's e-mail. Or maybe just the last two weeks--you decide. » POSTED IN:
