Thin Classic-size Planners?
mike_murray | Jan 10 2007
Hey all, I'm looking for something that I just can't seem to come up with. I'm a long time user of a paper-based FranklinCovey planner. But, lately, I've been really, really tired of carrying around the big thick binder for just a few pages of paper. Unfortunately, I'm really quite happy with the "classic" size binder, and I just can't find a replacement. Does anybody know of any type of classic-size planner or binder that would be thin (i.e. less than 1" thick)? -Mike 12 Comments

...Junior sized paper and not classic... This is correct. Classic is 8.5" tall and 5.5" wide. Junior is 8.25" tall and 5.625" wide. If you mix the pages, the Classic ones will be a quarter inch shorter and an eighth inch wider. Since my DIY "Classic" pages are separated from the Levenger note paper by tabs, I never notice. The other option is to shave a quarter-inch off the long side of the letter paper before you slice it in half -- that way the "sticking out" is eliminated completely. I started doing that, but it was more cutting than I was interested in doing so I live with it. I'm slightly OCD when it comes to stuff not lining up and it hasn't bothered me at all. Surprisingly. YMMV. » POSTED IN:
