Due Dates on Tasks
emuelle1 | Mar 31 2006
Does anyone manage to effectively use due dates on tasks? I keep feeling the urge to assign them, even a range of dates. Pocket Informant uses those effectively, and will show any tasks active for a day on the calendar view. I know David Allen says this is forbidden in GTD, but I'm sure it works for someone. 8 Comments

For a while there, I was pretty good about dragging deadline tasks onto my Outlook calendar or creating appointments from them in Pocket Informant. I didn't manage to keep that up too long. It seems like duplication. I guess I'm just brainwashed to think that I have to check off the task, when simply getting it done should be good enough. » POSTED IN:
