Due Dates on Tasks

Does anyone manage to effectively use due dates on tasks? I keep feeling the urge to assign them, even a range of dates. Pocket Informant uses those effectively, and will show any tasks active for a day on the calendar view. I know David Allen says this is forbidden in GTD, but I'm sure it works for someone. 8 Comments

I definitely date NAs that have deadlines. Even if the deadline for something is 2 months in the future, I'll include it in my NA (using Outlook here). That way, I can see at a glance that a particular NA actually has a deadline. You may think that in 2 months, I would be able to get it done without having to force it at the end, but some of my NAs languish on my lists ;) » POSTED IN:
