Due Dates on Tasks

Does anyone manage to effectively use due dates on tasks? I keep feeling the urge to assign them, even a range of dates. Pocket Informant uses those effectively, and will show any tasks active for a day on the calendar view. I know David Allen says this is forbidden in GTD, but I'm sure it works for someone. 8 Comments

Shouldn't due dates be in your Calendar? After all, it is something that MUST be delivered to SOMEONE or SOMETHING on a CERTAIN DAY, which meets the criteria for hard landscape. The thing that is due is still an Action or Project, and you can prioritize by giving it more visibility in your NextActions lists. » POSTED IN:
