Due Dates on Tasks
emuelle1 | Mar 31 2006
Does anyone manage to effectively use due dates on tasks? I keep feeling the urge to assign them, even a range of dates. Pocket Informant uses those effectively, and will show any tasks active for a day on the calendar view. I know David Allen says this is forbidden in GTD, but I'm sure it works for someone. 8 Comments

I only do it for...Submitted by jason.mcbrayer on March 31, 2006 - 6:26am.
I only do it for things that have a hard deadline in the sense of "if it's not done by this date, don't do it." Well, that's not completely true. I also do it for deadlines that have consequences, like library book due dates that come with fines. But I don't do it for any normal tasks, even if I really want to get them done by a certain date. » POSTED IN:
