If there was only one aspect of the GTD you could pass on to someone else, what would that be? What is its starting point as it were.

You got there first with 'is it actionable?' ;)

But the original question was for one aspect, rather than one sentence, so the particular GTD aspect is;

* Write down all the outcomes and actions you're committed to.
* Make sure that every outcome has a plan, in terms of physical actions, that will take you closer to gaining that outcome.

Everything else is either (a) a detail that expands over that core, or (b) generic productivity pr0n.
