Keratin lifehack: growing a beard

The first time I grew a beard was to see how I'd look. Subsequent beards were fraught with meaning. They were hair-based timers and totems of resolve. I, at various times, resolved not to shave until I submitted the thesis, hooked up with a new girlfriend, went a month without a beer, etc.. There was always the playoff beard. I have never had a beard and detest facial hair on myself. The only time I even dreamed of it was when I was told to not shave so as to conserve water. My three days of growth is about as far as it's gotten. If I could get it zapped off so that it never returned, I would. I guess it's a good thing I'm in the military... ;) » POSTED IN:
