Exercise Life Hack?

Hey all! I'm looking for an effective workout life-hack that's 30-40 minutes 3-4 times a week that includes weightlifting and aerobics. I don't need to be "ripped" -- just want some basic fitness. I'm looking for the most bang for the time spent. (Exercises that use multiple muscle groups, etc.) Something between the unrealistic get fit for 5 minutes a day group and people who can spend two hours a day at the gym. I'm looking for some sedentary computer type who researched this and solved this problem. Anybody out there done this? Want to share your workout? Thanks! 31 Comments

Walking is worth it, I think; one benefit is that you don't have to cram in _extra_ exercise; I get 50 minutes of walking done a day through walking to work - the chance of me spending 20 minutes on a treadmill every day, though, is nil. Brisk walking shouldn't bring you out in a sweat... unless you live somewhere hot? Right now, it's at freezing point where I am. Not such a sweaty time. » POSTED IN:
