Exercise Life Hack?
wilburwatkins | Dec 19 2005
Hey all! I'm looking for an effective workout life-hack that's 30-40 minutes 3-4 times a week that includes weightlifting and aerobics. I don't need to be "ripped" -- just want some basic fitness. I'm looking for the most bang for the time spent. (Exercises that use multiple muscle groups, etc.) Something between the unrealistic get fit for 5 minutes a day group and people who can spend two hours a day at the gym. I'm looking for some sedentary computer type who researched this and solved this problem. Anybody out there done this? Want to share your workout? Thanks! 31 Comments

I have an schedule that is still settling; I got back on campus about a week ago. So when I pull a late night, I'm not likely to wake up to actually work out. Trying to find someone to work out with me doesn't seem to help in the motivation. I'm in relatively good shape. I've got an endurance runner build. I'm 6'1" and 150 lbs. So I'm very slim. But I'm trying to put on some upper body so when I go rock climbing, I don't feel like a wuss when I do only a few climbs. I try to play 2 hours of ultimate frisbee twice a week. But with studying it gets tough, cuz the UF is at 12am. Diet wise I'm not too hard up. I'm trying to actually put on a few pounds of muscle, obviously with 150 lbs on a 6'1" frame. Being vegetarian makes it a bit tough though. I have to bulk up on soy or whey protein. Do any of you know of any quick, simple recipes for shakes that taste good? » POSTED IN:
