Exercise Life Hack?

Hey all! I'm looking for an effective workout life-hack that's 30-40 minutes 3-4 times a week that includes weightlifting and aerobics. I don't need to be "ripped" -- just want some basic fitness. I'm looking for the most bang for the time spent. (Exercises that use multiple muscle groups, etc.) Something between the unrealistic get fit for 5 minutes a day group and people who can spend two hours a day at the gym. I'm looking for some sedentary computer type who researched this and solved this problem. Anybody out there done this? Want to share your workout? Thanks! 31 Comments

I use "Yourself! Fitness" for the Playstation 2. THey have xbox and Windows versions too. It forces you to do a routine and checks your status every 9-10 workouts so you can see some improvements. It is mainly focused on overall fitness, so don't expect to get huge from it. It also varies the workouts, so you aren't doing the same d*mn workout each day like you would in a workout video, i.e. one day it will focus on core, the next it will be cardio. Plus, it has a yoga section if you aren't feeling up to a full workout. I highly recommend it. -Derek :) » POSTED IN:
