Exercise Life Hack?

Hey all! I'm looking for an effective workout life-hack that's 30-40 minutes 3-4 times a week that includes weightlifting and aerobics. I don't need to be "ripped" -- just want some basic fitness. I'm looking for the most bang for the time spent. (Exercises that use multiple muscle groups, etc.) Something between the unrealistic get fit for 5 minutes a day group and people who can spend two hours a day at the gym. I'm looking for some sedentary computer type who researched this and solved this problem. Anybody out there done this? Want to share your workout? Thanks! 31 Comments

What I have found is to just plan an exercise. For example, if I'm going to run for 30 minutes that day then I look for a time during the day I can do it no matter if it was the same time as it was yesterday. To tell you the truth though, this doesn't happen to me very often I mostly exercise early in the moring (5am-6am). By doing it that early in the morning it gets the exercise out of the way and gets me going in the moring; you just have to watch for that mid-afternoon snooze attack. :) » POSTED IN:
