Exercise Life Hack?

Hey all! I'm looking for an effective workout life-hack that's 30-40 minutes 3-4 times a week that includes weightlifting and aerobics. I don't need to be "ripped" -- just want some basic fitness. I'm looking for the most bang for the time spent. (Exercises that use multiple muscle groups, etc.) Something between the unrealistic get fit for 5 minutes a day group and people who can spend two hours a day at the gym. I'm looking for some sedentary computer type who researched this and solved this problem. Anybody out there done this? Want to share your workout? Thanks! 31 Comments

I'd say for a 20 or 30 minute all-in-one workout, go for some yoga. I do a 1 hour class twice a week, but when I can't do that, I do the Yoga Zone "Yoga for Weight Loss" tape, which is 20 minutes and works up a sweat and some includes core-muscle work. You can probably also find tapes in the same time-range specifically for core-strength and such. Doing one of these three tiems a week won't make you more fit, but it will keep you from atrophying ;) » POSTED IN:
