Collecting ideas whilst walking
plonkee | Sep 22 2006
I walk to and from work everyday, its about a 40 minute journey. Especially on the way home, I will be thinking about one or more problems/projects at work, and at the moment this doesn't get collected. I can't stop to write things down as I'd never get home, I'm thinking continuously. I struggle to remember it all to write down when I get there. Currently my system is to assume that I will remember it all again at another point hopefully in the near future. Can anyone suggest a solution? I thought about a little dictating machine but I'm walking through the city centre and I don't want to look stupid. 17 Comments

I second all the suggestions...Submitted by randellt on October 26, 2006 - 4:54am.
I second all the suggestions involving mobile phones. Whether built-in recording, voicemail or CellTel voicenotes, they all work well and you have the advantage of using something you own already and likely have with you at all times. For the iPod, Belkin makes a recorder. Click here to see it. » POSTED IN:
