Collecting ideas whilst walking

I walk to and from work everyday, its about a 40 minute journey. Especially on the way home, I will be thinking about one or more problems/projects at work, and at the moment this doesn't get collected. I can't stop to write things down as I'd never get home, I'm thinking continuously. I struggle to remember it all to write down when I get there. Currently my system is to assume that I will remember it all again at another point hopefully in the near future. Can anyone suggest a solution? I thought about a little dictating machine but I'm walking through the city centre and I don't want to look stupid. 17 Comments

If you could use a mobile phone, you would still look stupid, but there'd be lots of other people in the same state, so you wouldn't stand out! :D Steve » POSTED IN:
